Human Rights in the Supply Chain

Our Human Rights Policy Statement forms the foundation for responsible collaboration within our company and with our partners worldwide. It aligns with the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG), identifies specific risks, and outlines due diligence measures to mitigate them. Our Human Rights Report provides an overview of how we uphold our responsibility to protect human rights. It sets out fundamental principles and identifies potential risks and challenges.

We monitor compliance with labor laws as well as our human rights and ethical standards at our production sites through regular audits. Since 2003, we have been working with the amfori Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI). In the event of violations, we develop an action plan for continuous improvement together with the parties involved, conduct follow-up audits, or suspend business relationships if necessary.

Our Codes of Conduct summarize our key rules and behavioral principles. We commit not only ourselves and our employees to fair working conditions and the protection of human rights and the environment, but also our suppliers and partners. We continuously work to communicate our Code of Conduct to all suppliers and partners and to incorporate it into our contracts. Through regular training and audits, we support our suppliers in meeting these requirements and continuously improving their practices.

Reporting Channels

We have established a reporting system for our employees, suppliers, and partners. This allows them to inform us of potential violations of our ethics and compliance guidelines – such as bribery, child labor, or discrimination – either by us or by our direct and indirect suppliers. This enables us to investigate reported incidents as quickly as possible, take corrective action, and impose sanctions if necessary.
